About Helen T. Gelhot, MD

Since opening her practice in 2008, Dr. Gelhot has come to  appreciate the value of  traditional allopathic medicine, as well as a more integrative, functional approach. Dr. Gelhot treats the "whole  person," not just their symptoms. By taking a holistic approach to  healthcare, Dr. Gelhot helps her patients focus on prevention and wellness to achieve optimal health. Besides running her medical  practice, Dr. Gelhot is a Catholic Christian wife and mother. 

She has been involved in medicine since her earliest years and began her medical practice in 2008 after completing her Internal Medicine Residency at Saint Louis University. She has studied at multiple institutions completing thousands of hours of continuing medical education. Additionally, Dr Gelhot sought mentorship and trained under notable physicians with expertise in subjects including neurology (Dale Bredesen, M.D.), cardiology - BaleDoneen Method (Bradley Dale, M.D.) , endocrinology (EJ Cunningham, M.D.), cardiology (Joseph Shen, M.D.), and critical care and infectious disease (Peter McCullough, M.D.).
