Ultraviolet Blood Irradiation (UVBI)

Background: UVBI is a treatment for both severe and mild health conditions,

with its discovery dating back to the 19th century, and extensive studies taking place

in the early 2oth century. Emmet Knott was the first pioneer for this treatment in the

United States. The benefits of sunlight for tuberculosis and pneumonia patients

already well known, in 1923 Mr. Knott developed the idea in an attempt to cure

victims of the Spanish flu. He worked at this theory until he discovered the correct

dosage of ultraviolet light in the optimal amount of blood:

  • The first human, a woman with sepsis, was cured in 1928
  •  1943, Hundreds of recoveries from moribund patients, including those with staph infection, asthma, and polio as seen by physician Dr. Miley. He “reported on polio treated with blood irradiation. Fifty eight cases were followed…only one death occurred.” (citation)
  • Through 20th century, research continued in Germany and Russia, while interest in UVBI dwindled in the U.S.
  • In 2008, a resurgence occurs through a small clinic in Michigan offering only UBI as treatment for its patients
  •  Today, UVBI treatments can be found across the U.S.*

What to Expect: An i.v. is started in the patient, so that a specific amount of blood is extracted, then slowly run through special tubing under ultraviolet light before returning

to the body. Typically, UBI treatments are paired with ozone therapy for maximum health results. Sessions are complete in under an hour.

Why UVBI? Ultraviolet blood irradiation treatments may help with chronic fatigue, aging, weight loss, or infection. The natural healing rays of the sun do not penetrate past the dermis, thus making direct contact with the blood ideal for health recovery.

If you have been long suffering from disease or pain, treatment with ultraviolet blood irradiation may be the solution for you.

Please Note: Although this has been used for many years, ultraviolet blood irradiation is not FDA approved for the treatment of any conditions.

Results are not guaranteed to prevent, treat, or cure any disease.
